The Summer solstice, the longest day of the year is a time to celebrate Nature’s gift.

Skye Midsummer Night

The mirrored loch reflects the light,

With magenta tones glowing bright,

As wispy mist swirls from the land

And oyster catchers preen on the sand.

The curlew glides low as he sings,

His melodious air, as if to bring

The promise of dawn in the fading light

On this glorious eve of midsummer night
