A beautiful May morning, my favourite time of year.

Images taken around my home here on the Isle of Skye apart from the curlew images(pixabay)

Morning Dew – I wrote this poem after visiting the wildflower meadow Oran Uisge, next to my home. I hope you enjoy this excerpt

Morning Dew

This is my moment to stop and stare,

In total solitude with no one to share.

Sunshine beams with rays so clear,

Breath-clouds rise in a cool dawn air.

Delicate mist swirls and floats,

Glistening the flowers’ watery coats.

Strings of gossamer criss-cross the lea,

Like jewelled necklaces for all to see..
