When life becomes too stressful and I am trying to juggle too many things…I tell myself it’s time to chill out!
A favourite place of mine is a tranquil shore near my home. I like to relax using mindful methods, focussing on the here and now. These peaceful surroundings allow my stress to ebb away as time passes.
smelling the salty air,
watching the waves shimmer as they reflect the light from the sun,
feeling the warm breeze on my skin,
listening to the seagulls as they call.
I can focus on my breathing and slowly feel the tension float away on the breeze leaving me, happy and chilled
