Rocky Cove

I went for a walk to the rocky cove near my home yesterday.

The steep granite crags

shield the rocky cove from view

as waves spray the cliffs.

The rocks were patterned with white lichen and shore lichen and sea campion clung to small crevices.

Carpets of pink sea thrift decorated the shoreline.

The weather was warm with a strong breeze, as I took this video.
