A delicious pudding to compliment butter bean or chicken casserole.


8 oz SR Flour

3 oz butter or margarine

3 oz sauteed sliced leeks

pinch of salt

1 tsp baking powder

cold water to blend


Add flour, salt, baking powder and butter to a large bowl

Rub in the butter

Add small amounts of cold water and blend together.

Add the mixture to a greased oven proof bowl.

place in the centre of the oven at 175 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serve with butter bean or chicken casserole
